Candidatii care castiga votul popular in colegiile lor nu au garantia ca vor lua scaunul, iar de fapt vor fi zeci de cazuri cand alesul final va fi cel care a luat locul doi sau chiar trei. In anumite cazuri, chiar daca un candidat castiga 50% din voturi, se prea poate sa nu ii fie permisa ocuparea scaunului in Parlament, deoarece un partid nu poate castiga toate scaunele.

Presupun, ca multi altii care stiu, ca publicul habar nu are de aceasta “chichitza”. Sau nu le pasa? Incredibil.

De fapt, ca sa-l citez pe un expat din Bucuresti: cu un calculator de buzunar, un sondaj electoral pe jumatate corect, si cu lista de candidati in mana, oricine ar putea afla de pe acum exact cine va fi ales in fiecare scaun. Si din pacate, presa nu ne serveste articole bazate pe acest fapt.

Ca si o concluzie, cateva anomalii care nu ar trebui sa existe intr-un sistem uninominal, dar exista in Romania:

1. Inca exista un prag parlamentar. Asta se traduce in faptul ca daca oamenii din Somcuta Mare il voteaza pe Bulan de la Partidul Erdeesh sa ajunga Prim Ministru, el nu va putea face acest lucru daca Partidul Erdeesh nu va trece de pragul minim national.

2. Chiar daca un candidat va avea cele mai multe voturi intr-un colegiu electoral, acesta nu va fi cel castigator.

3. Candidatii unui partid nu vor putea castiga toate locurile intr-un judet, chiar daca populatia acelui judet il voteaza.

4. Fundamental vorbind, votantii inca aleg pe baza listelor electorale (vedeti tabelele de pe paginile 3 si 4 din documentul oferit mai jos), iar numele din acestea sunt definite de performanta partidului intr-un judet.

I’ve met too many nonprofit CEOs who say “I hate fundraising. I don’t fundraise.” If you’re being hired as a nonprofit CEO and the Board tells you that you won’t be fundraising, they’re either misguided or lying.

Tell them they’re wrong. Tell them that your job as a CEO is to be an evangelist for your idea and to convince others about the change you want to see in the world. Tell them that if this idea is worth supporting then they should jump in with both feet and support it with their time and money and by telling their friends it is worth supporting.

Spending your time talking to powerful, influential people about the change you hope to see in the world is a pretty far cry from having fundraising as a “necessary evil.”

I’d rather be an evangelist, a storyteller, an educator, a translator, a table-pounder, a guy on his soap box, a woman with a megaphone, a candidate for change. I want to talk to as many people as I can about my ideas – whether in person or in newsletters or on Facebook or Twitter or in the Economist or at the TED conference or at Davos – and capture their imagination about the change I hope to see in the world. “
